By now, you probably already know that Lebron James loves  Space Jam so much that he wishes he could star in  Space Jam 2 . No big surprise there.  Space Jam is awesome , and the concept of a sequel is absolutely terrific. Just think about the way you naturally responded to his statement. Did you smile? Did you high five a friend? Did you marvel at what an ingenious idea it is? Did you at the very least avoid throwing up in your mouth? Then you’re with 99.9% of the population because this is obviously a fantastic idea. It's almost unfathomable to imagine that people are missing out on the chance to witness one of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball. Yet even as LeBron James widens the gap between himself and his NBA peers, the voice of reason falls silent upon the King's haters. James will likely never shake all of his detractors, even as he shakes their criticisms with his play. You can't stop LeBron James . You can only hope to contain him. The All-Star swingman for the Miami Heat has been a one-man wrecking crew ever since he arrived in the NBA as the No. 1 pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2003 draft. Few (if any) in the history of the game have ever combined size, speed, strength, athleticism and sheer basketball brilliance to such devastating effect as James has. This means that in the nine years since the company debuted its first LeBron shoe, the price would have jumped nearly threefold from $110 back in 2003. Consumers are miffed that Nike would demand such an outrageous price at a moment when many Americans are still coping with the effects of a recession, and the conversation has extended to questions of personal responsibility and even race. After the season LeBron James just had, the reigning MVP has to be favored to take home the hardware again next year. But just like the Heat's upcoming title defense, it's not going to be easy. Though James is an invaluable asset to Miami's blueprint, he's not alone. There are other players who have rendered themselves indispensable to their respective teams; other players who have proven to be just as integral a cog in their franchise's machine.  And while such company is thin, it's also prolific.
