LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were magnificent in closing out the Indiana Pacers, and with Chris Bosh still not available, Miami Heat Erik Spoelstra expects his two megastars to remain dominant against the Boston Celtics, and then some. Per the Sun-Sentinel: âSo what does Erik Spoelstra want after LeBron James and Dwyane Wade did it all in the final three games against Indiana? More of the same. As a matter of perspective, over those final three victories against the Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals, James averaged 32.7 points on 55-percent shooting, 11.3 rebounds and eight assists, while Wade averaged 33 points on 62-percent shooting, 7.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists. [...] âWhat happened the last three games, that has to be the norm,â Spoelstra said following Saturdayâs practice. And then some. âBut not only the norm,â Spoelstra said. âWhat I told them today, as a team, we have to go to the next level. That wonât be enough for our ultimate goal and we understand that.â [...] âThatâd be nice,â Wade said with a grin. âThatâs be real nice. Iâd love to be there every night. That would be great.â James would offer no guarantees of such gargantuan statistics. âI mean, we just have to see,â he said. But he also appreciated Spoelstraâs prodding. âHe said the right thing,â James said. âHe said the right thing to just keep us on our toes, let us know we canât have a relaxed moment yet.ââ
