A beast on the court, a bookworm off.Such has been the postseason approach of Miami Heat forward LeBron James.
Now on his seventh book of the postseason, James said he has found the diversion relaxing, as the Heat push through the playoffs.
"I don't know, just something I got into for the playoffs, first time I've really done it," he said of his ravenous reading. "I haven't read this much, I guess, probably since I was in high school, as far as books.
"But it's been great, honestly, to read a few books here and there. It's been fun."
James said it has helped offset the pressure of the playoffs, with the Miami Heat to face the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals at 8:30 p.m. Friday at TD Garden.
For those interested in the LeBron book club, he said he started his postseason reading with the autobiography of legendary NBA guard and executive Jerry West, and since has read, "The Pact," "Boiling Point," "Tipping Point" and now is on the third installment of the "Hunger Games" series.
