Miami Heat star LeBron James took the time to talk to some fans yesterday during a Q&A session on his Twitter account. LeBron answered multiple questions including who he believes are the best rappers of all-time, some high school memories and a potential acting career in the future.
When asked about the movie Space Jam, LeBron stated that he loved the movie would wishes there would be a Space Jam 2.
âI love that movie! Wish I could do Space Jam 2!â James tweeted.
For those who donât remember the box office hit, Space Jam starred Michael Jordan and a cast of many other NBA players as they teamed up with Bugs Bunny and company to play the Monstars. Space Jam was a hit and surely would be if there was a sequel with someone that has LeBron Jamesâ star power.
But would anyone dare to make a Space Jam 2 featuring the King? Matt Moore from ProBasketballTalk.com wrote about the potential idea:
âSo, surely some movie executive is going to see this and pitch it, right? I mean, itâll be awful. The movie doesnât hold up as it is (and I love that flick). Do kids even know who Bugs Bunny is at this point? Who do you get for Bill Murrayâs part? You need someone to compliment without stealing it.â
In a likelihood, James was just having some fun talking about one of his favorite movies that featured his idol growing up. Even though there will almost certainly not be a Space Jam 2 in the works starring LeBron, it wonât stop us all from dreaming.
