Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George was once again on the receiving end of a poster dunk by Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, but he was able to find humor in the situation.
"It was just like a deer in the headlights, I don't know what to do right here," George said while recounting the experience during a recent episode of Podcast P with Paul George. "Before I could think about the next thing to do, I was just stuck."
James threw down a monster dunk in transition during the Jan. 7 meeting between the two teams. George tried to absorb the contact but was instead called for a blocking foul.
George took solace in the fact that he didn't fall down after the dunk. He's no stranger to amazing plays by James, as the two of them have a friendly rivalry that dates all the way back to their respective times with the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat.
George won't have to wait too long to get some revenge, as the Clippers and Lakers are set to meet again on Jan. 23.
