The Los Angeles Lakers picked up a big win over the Philadelphia 76ers 101-94 Friday night behind a clutch fourth quarter from LeBron James.
James had a slow start on Friday with just nine points through three quarters—though he gave fans a show with a pair of dunks. He had some crucial buckets in the final quarter, including a clutch three and a late dunk that served as the dagger in the matchup.
James ended the night with 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Anthony Davis also put together a solid game with 23 points and 19 rebounds.
With the win, the Lakers improved to 38-32 on the season, though they are still fighting for a playoff spot in ninth place in the Western Conference. The Lakers sit three games behind the eighth-place Sacramento Kings, so they'll need to stay dialed in through the final month of the season if they want to move further up in the standings. If Los Angeles can't put together a big run, the Lakers will likely be facing a Play-In game to determine their playoff fate.
