LeBron James has been named the MVP of the 2024 Summer Olympics men's basketball tournament in Paris after guiding Team USA to a perfect 6-0 record and a gold medal.

Teammate Stephen Curry, who made eight three-pointers in the United States' 98-87 win over France in the gold medal game, made the All-Star five with James.

The same went for reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokić of Serbia, who had more points (113), rebounds (64) and assists (52) than anyone else en route to leading his country to a bronze medal.

James finished the tournament with 14.2 points on 66 percent shooting, 8.2 assists and 6.8 rebounds in 24.5 minutes per game.

James' finest moment in this tournament occurred in the United States' remarkable comeback win over Serbia, in which the team trailed 76-63 going into the fourth quarter but won 95-91. He finished with a 16-point, 12-rebound, 10-assist triple-double and had six points and four rebounds in the fourth quarter.

James followed that up with 14 points and 10 assists against France, which was led by Victor Wembanyama and his game-high 26 points. Unsurprisingly, Wembanayama won the tournament's Rising Star award alongside earning a spot on the All-Star team.

Wemby finished the tournament with 15.8 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
