Video of LeBron James Channeling His Inner Diva as He Puts the Perforamce of His Life on Dance Floor Will Never Not be Funny

LeBron James has amassed enough fans with his skills inside the court. But when fans saw him shake his leg like a diva, they almost felt that he was in the wrong profession. James' hilarious dance performance, as seen in an old video available on different social platforms, is sure to make you like him even more.

The performance comes from an episode of Saturday Night Live, where James appeared as a host very early in his basketball career. It was part of a spoof skit based on the famous television show, Solid Gold, which featured a crew of dancers performing on the popular music of any given week.

LeBron James' Moves In This Hilarious SNL Video Will Make You His Fan For His Dancing Skills

Being one of the best players in the NBA, we can see LeBron James as very serious and focused on the court. But when he lets his lighthearted and fun side out, fans will get to see a surprisingly hilarious dance performance from him, like the one he did in SNL. The Lakers star got to host an episode of SNL during his early days in basketball.

Adorned in an attention-grabbing gold outfit, James appeared in a fun skit that mocked Solid Gold (via YouTube). He introduced himself as Alexander, one of the dancers in the crew. He shared in his funny introduction before the performance, "Hi. I'm Alexander. I'm 6 ft 8 and weigh 240 pounds. I like roasted whole turkeys."

He then went on to perform a dance routine with a group, exuding his signature charisma on the stage. Fans already know of James' acting chops as he appeared as a guest star in several films, while also leading Space Jam: A New Legacy. Fans had some pretty interesting things to say about this dance routine from the basketball legend. Some of their comments read:

How have I been alive this long and never seen this

@arnoldatuhaire3906

when this came out years ago.. i cant stop laughing.

@carbuncle1977

"I like roasted whole turkey…" Lmao So random. Lebron cracks me up

@TroubleD123abc

@salsasoul4112

@kellyl470

Needless to say, there were hate comments against James as well, with many calling his dance the "humiliation routine". Most of the hate came from basketball fans, who don't agree with James being considered one of the greatest players in the game. According to The Sports Rush, when a version of this video appeared on Instagram, fans were quick to spread hate and bring the rivalry between James and Michael Jordan into play in the comments.

It Was Not The First Time LeBron James' Dance Video Went Viral

In what appears to be the NBA's first viral YouTube video, LeBron James engaged in a friendly dance-off with none other than Shaquille O'Neal. When Shaq showed off some of his pretty cool moves, including a Helicopter on the floor, James was not afraid to show off his dance skills. Dwight Howard also joined the dance-off later in the video.

In a recent appearance on The Big Podcast with Udonis Haslem, Shaq opened up about breaking it down on the dance floor with James. He also shared that he would take on infamous Olympic breakdancer Ray Gun any place, any time.

LeBron James recently embarrassed his daughter Zhuri when he did a little dance with the American volleyball duo of Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss (via Bleacher Report). He was in attendance during their women's beach volleyball match at the Summer Olympics, where they earned a victory. James' dance caused his daughter to cover her face with her hands, which was pretty funny to watch.

NBA Rumors: LeBron James' Son Bronny Is on Draft Boards of 'Multiple Teams'

Chris Coduto/Getty Images Bronny James' USC team has struggled this season, but that reportedly hasn't stopped the NBA interest in the son of legend LeBron James. "When I talk to people around the league, he's on the draft boards of multiple teams," Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported Thursday: Charania noted teams around the league believe he is "further along" on the defensive side of the ball than the offensive side, which makes performances like Wednesday's all the more important. The USC freshman finished with 11 points, six assists and five rebounds while shooting 5-of-11 from the field in one of his best offensive showings of the season in a loss to Arizona. The only game that he scored more points in was a Dec. 30 loss to Oregon State when he finished with 15 on 6-of-11 shooting from the field. Perhaps most importantly, James played a season-high 30 minutes against the Wildcats on Wedn...

What Happened to the Rivalry Between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony? - Bleacher Report

They were two young stars with unique and special abilities on the basketball court. They had recently played in a high-attention scholastic contest against each other. They were both selected in the same draft. The LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony rivalry was supposed to be the best individual rivalry since Magic and Bird. But while the relationship between Bird and Johnson is dramatized in a new Broadway play , Anthony and James will meet for the 15th time in their careers and do so without much fanfare. James and Anthony first met in a USA developmental camp in 2001 . Much like how Johnson raved about Bird after they played together on a college All-Star team playing in an international tournament, James couldn’t stop talking about Anthony. The two squared off in a high school showcase game the following year that pitted the player regarded as the best senior in the country (Anthony) against the one that was the best junior in the country (James), a game Anthony’s team wo...

‘So You Think You Can Dance’ 18 episode 3 recap: In ‘Auditions: Day Three,’ one hopeful was like ‘the LeBron James of dance’

"So You Think You Can Dance" season 18 ended the first stage of the competition on Monday night, March 18, with the last dance hopefuls looking for a spot in the choreography round. So far the bar has been set pretty high by standout performances from dancers representing a variety of dance styles, shapes, sizes and ability levels. So who stood out among the last crop of contestants? Did the show save the best for last? "We've put 25 people through," said judge Allison Holker at the start of the show. She singled out contemporary dancer Braylon Browner and gymnast Dakayla Wilson as standouts from the first two days of auditions. Comfort Fedoke agreed that Wilson is capable of anything a professional choreographer could throw at her. Maksim Chmerkovskiy was especially impressed by contemporary dancer Easton Magliarditi . But "there's so many other things outside of dance that we're also looking at." More from GoldDerby SEE ...
