This could be Bronny James' last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Coming off a rough California Classic showing in Summer League appetizer action, he now heads to Vegas needing to deliver a big performance.

If he doesn't, his fate may be tied entirely to his father, LeBron James.
LeBron is on an expiring contract for this season with the Lakers. He could get traded. He could become a free agent after the season. He could retire.
And if any of those things happen, The Athletic's John Hollinger thinks it may spell bad news for Bronny, who is in the last fully guaranteed year of his contract.
"James has a fully guaranteed deal this year, but after that, everything is up in the air," Hollinger writes. "If LeBron James isn't a Laker after this season, it's hard to see them keep riding with Bronny unless he's earned his stripes by then; next year's deal is only 50 percent guaranteed."
