LeBron James recently stirred up buzz across social media after posting a photo of himself working out in the Los Angeles Clippers' practice facility. Fans quickly began speculating if there was any deeper meaning behind the photo.
However, the mystery didn't last long. It was later confirmed that the photo was taken at the Clippers' former facility, which is now operated by Klutch Sports.
On the latest episode of The Pat Bev Pod, former NBA guard Patrick Beverley weighed in on the controversy and gave an inside look at the situation.
"So their old practice arena when I was there was the—the gym you're talking about where LeBron is at, right? A massive practice court. It's maybe eight basketball rims in it, maybe two full-court NBA basketball courts in it. It's in El Segundo, right? Like the practice facility is literally sitting there completely empty," Beverley said.

— Pat Bev Pod (@PatBevPod) August 6, 2025Beverley shared that the gym is now essentially a neutral training ground used by multiple NBA stars. The veteran guard defended LeBron's right to post what he wants on his own social media.
"He worked out in Cleveland. He took a picture. They gave him shit about it. His Instagram, bro. He can post a fucking picture. It's okay. You don't think that LeBron's stupid. He knows what he's doing. He's not a stupid man."

Recently, Lil Wayne opened up about what it felt like to speak with LeBron James during a recent commercial shoot, years after meeting him as a teenager.
"I met him when he was about 16. To see him become who he was, and I remember, I think it was a commercial we shot recently, I was on the set just looking up at him and asking him about his son and the NBA; that was a huge full circle moment for me," Wayne said.
Since that early encounter at age 16, LeBron James has done more than just meet expectations. The four-time NBA champion has defined an era of basketball while expanding his reach into business and philanthropy.
