The Labubu trend is going so strong even LeBron James can't resist!
The NBA star, nicknamed "King James," flashed the coveted bag charm accessory — that's been taking the fashion world by storm — on his Louis Vuitton bag when he appeared on Kai Cenat's stream on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
James, 40, who was invited on the stream to help Cenat, 23, fulfill a promise to shave his dreadlocks if he reached 1 million subscribers during his month-long "Mafiathon 3" challenge, showed off his Labubu when reaching for the hair clippers in his designer handbag.
"I think I brought something good in my bag... I brought my LV bag with my little Labubu," the basketball icon told the content creator phenom in the clip that's since gone viral on social media.

"Okay! Okay!" Cenat excitedly replied to the Los Angeles Lakers forward, hyping up his fashion-forward choices, which he called out during the stream.
Labubus are a popular blind box toy with a mischievous grin that wear a costume with rabbit-like ears on their heads — and they've been taking social media by storm in recent months with celebrities like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and David Beckham incorporating them into their looks.
James' 10-year-old daughter, Zhuri James, who joined her dad for the stream — along with Cenat's friends — can be heard echoing her dad after he made mention of the keychain.

Despite the recent popularity of Labubu dolls, the critters — according to POP MART's official website, which sells Labubu and other blind box toys — originated in 2015 thanks to artist Kasing Lung, who created a trio of picture books inspired by Nordic mythology.

Naomi Osaka's custom Labubus at the US Open 2025.The books were set in a fairy world populated by magical creatures, but the most prominent creature in the book series was Labubu, "a small monster with high, pointed ears and serrated teeth" that is "kind-hearted and always wants to help, b ut often accidentally achieves the opposite," according to the site.
Labubu, which was identified as a girl, experienced a surge in popularity after BLACKPINK singer Lisa first shared images of herself with a doll in April of 2024. In the time since, the craze has exploded.
From fashion week appearances to even sporting events (see Naomi Osaka's custom, crystal-encrusted dolls that matched each outfit), Labubu have been everywhere — and now with James donning the doll, the trend shows no sign of slowing down.
