Watch Lakers' LeBron James Reach 43K Points on Video for Latest Milestone in Historic NBA Career

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James further extended his seemingly insurmountable NBA scoring record.

During Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics, James became the first player in NBA history to reach 43,000 career points.

James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's previous record of 38,387 points in 2023, and he has yet to lose a step.

James reacted to his latest accomplishment on Instagram on Monday: "1 of 1. NEVER CHANGE. Truly blessed and grateful for all that comes my way! LOVE."

Despite a slow start after sitting out earlier in the year due to sciatica, the 41-year-old is averaging 21.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.2 assists in his 23rd NBA season.

James will continue to add to his scoring record through the rest of the year as the Lakers try to improve their playoff positioning. It's hard to imagine another player breaking his record when it's all said and done.
