Head coach JJ Redick initially believed James would play on Sunday, but it remains uncertain what will happen a few hours before tipoff.

"LeBron has a contusion," Redick said, per SB Nation's Jacob Rude. "He's still banged up, but we think he'll be available for Sunday."

"It's pretty sore right now," James said. "What was I feeling? Feeling like one of them funny bone situations but super more intense."

Outside of this being a massive game for the sixth-place Lakers, sitting at 38-25, but Los Angeles and New York battling it out is always must-see TV.
