LeBron James is clearly enjoying playing alongside his son right now, especially after the two made history during the Los Angeles Lakers' 116-99 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
After recording the first father-to-son assist in NBA history, LeBron told reporters he's "not taking it for granted" that he gets to have these moments with Bronny.
The historic assist came midway through the second quarter when LeBron dished to Bronny for an open three.
Even though Bronny only played four minutes against the Nets, it was the second consecutive game he made his presence felt albeit with limited time on the court. He pu t up four points and two steals in a 137-130 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
This marks the first time Bronny has appeared in back-to-back games for the Lakers since Feb. 10 and 12.
LeBron hyped up Bronny after the Pacers game, while head coach JJ Redick also praised his contributions when they were shorthanded with Marcus Smart sitting out due to an ankle injury.
The Lakers are still going to pick their spots with Bronny right now because they are fighting to hold the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, but getting more consistent playing time can help his long-term development.
Regardless of what happens the rest of this season, LeBron and Bronny will always have this moment to remember forever.
